Shivani Lamba

Shivani grew up in southern California and has been dancing various styles for over 10 years. She began her training and performance journey in Kathak under Smt. Anjani Ambegaokar (Orange County, CA). As Shivani became exposed to various styles in high school and college, she began expanding her training to include contemporary and modern styles, earning a minor in Dance and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley. In addition, she has been competing on hip-hop dance teams including Groove Against the Machine (Oakland, CA) and 220 (San Diego, CA). She has recently completed a pre-professional training program at Broadway Dance Center (New York, NY) and taught an Indian fusion class at RRB Dance Company (Cerritos, CA) . Shivani is now very excited to be a part of IMGE to fuse various styles and grow as a well rounded dancer.
