Sangeetha Santhebennur
Sangeetha (Sang) Santhebennur is a first-generation Indian-American multidisciplinary performing artist and instructor from New Jersey. Her introduction to performing arts began at age 5, immersed in various Indian and fusion dance styles at Rhythmic Arts Dance & Music Center, paired with intense Carnatic musical training. She was then introduced to other dance styles and disciplines including hip-hop, modern, Capoeira, musical theater, voice class and more through her renowned public school arts program. Her persistent interest and fiery passion led her to continue her arts exploration as a Rutgers University student (M.S.C.A, B.S), joining collegiate team RAPS Dance Troupe (RDT) for several years while robustly absorbing foundational training, competing along the East Coast and exploring her own choreography. Sang joined IMGE shortly after and has been an active company member since 2018.
Sang is currently represented by WeSpeak Model Management and has worked with some of entertainment’s industry leaders such as Keone & Mari Madrid, Vinh Nguyen, Jeanine McLean-Williams, Josh Rhodes, Ishita Mili and more. She also currently is a drop-in instructor and choreographer at various studios in the tri-state area. Some credits include ’Twas The Night Before by Cirque du Soleil, New Victory Theater: New Victory Dance with IMGE, The Karate Kid The Musical (Pre-Broadway, Stages St. Louis), Hair (Asolo Rep), NYFW, JVN, EOS, Vimeo, Cynthia Rowley and more.
