  • National Sawdust 80 North 6th Street Brooklyn, NY, 11249 United States (map)

Sakhi for South Asian Women presents the fourth annual π—šπ—²π—»π—±π—²π—Ώ π—π˜‚π˜€π˜π—Άπ—°π—² & π˜π—΅π—² π—”π—Ώπ˜s showcase, featuring IMGE as a guest artist. IMGE will present an excerpt of their latest work, β€œTerritory".”

This year’s showcase will center on "reclaiming the power within and reviving the power of the collective." To reclaim the power within is to celebrate survivors’ and all individual’s agency over their own lives. To revive the power of the collective is to cultivate community resilience, overcome systemic inequalities, and recognize that the power of our movement lies in our willingness to rebuild collectively. By taking ownership of our collective story, we believe we can multiply the power within us to achieve real change. Let us all witness and contribute to our community’s resilience by exploring the power within and without through creative expression.

Doors open at 7:00pm. Show starts at 8:00pm. $20 online.
